[dm-crypt] what is the difference btw "offset" and "skipped" values in tcrypt volumes.

The properties of a normal tcrypt volume looks like the first output below:

The properties of a hidden tcrypt volume looks like the second below:

The "offset" and "skipped" values are the same in both instances.
Under what circumstances can they be different and if i am to show only one,
which one of the two is more important?
